I think Quentin has a good strategy going by dividing his pumpkin into fourths and then estimating.
Tristan sure is working hard to try and find the area of his pumpkin.
Today we used candy corn to try and find the perimeter of our pumpkin outlines. That was pretty easy for all of us to figure out; however, finding the area was a little bit harder. It was neat to see some of the strategies the kids were coming up with to find the area with M & M's.
